Now it's your turn to find a new job. You were fired.
HOW TO PLAY
Read the email + CV in the center panel.
Select the correct vacancy on the right (should match the applicant's "Applied Role").
Compare CV skills to Required Skills β each requirement shows OK/MISSING.
Check Day Rules (experience minimums, tech specifics, special events). The DISCREPANCIES panel is hidden by default to increase challenge β rely on the rules and your judgment.
Decide: HIRE if requirements and rules are satisfied; otherwise REJECT.
Events & Special Cases
Spam β frequent bulk submissions. Rejecting spam grants a reward; hiring spam applies a heavy penalty (credits + warnings).
Virus / Harassment emails β suspicious attachments/messages. Reject to earn a larger bonus; hiring one immediately ends the run (game over).
VIP β a referral that grants a bonus if hired for the exact role.
Legend β rare high performer; still must match role and rules.
Scandal β likely fake candidate; avoid hiring.
CEO's Nephew β nepotism pressure may appear in Day Rules.
Spam Filter
Costs 10 credits to run.
If the currently visible letter is spam, using the Spam Filter immediately grants a bonus and advances to the next applicant (or ends the day if it was the last).
Otherwise the filter scans a short lookβahead window and removes spam/malicious CVs without the immediate bonus.
Time Pressure & Modes
Career: Day-by-day with quotas and summaries.
Endless: Randomized waves β survive as long as you can.
Challenge: Shorter timers and more applicants.
Extra time pressure (checkbox on Start): when enabled, Day 1 is shortened to 60 seconds for a highβpressure start.
Economy & Scoring
Correct decisions: +10 credits.
Mistakes: β10 credits and a warning.
Hiring costs salary = 10 + 5 Γ (# required skills) (deducted when hire is processed).
Rejecting spam grants a small reward; hiring spam causes a larger penalty.
Rejecting a virus email grants a bonus; hiring a virus email immediately triggers game over.
Meeting quotas and finishing the day awards completion bonuses.
Rivals & Boss
If Rivals are enabled, waiting too long on strong candidates may cause a rival to auto-hire them. Boss satisfaction rises with correct calls and drops on mistakes.
